Marcus is an accomplished athlete and has been coaching people to reach their fitness goals for 20+ years. He started as a personal coach for wrestling and added personal training to his repertoire nearly 10 years ago.
Marcus has been a personal trainer since 2015. He specializes in one-on-one and small group personal training in weight loss and body transformation, kickboxing, boxing and wrestling. His clientele has included a spectrum of individuals from novice to elite athlete, and everywhere in between.
As a college wrestler, Marcus was undefeated and untied, with a record of 155–0 (2nd NCAA wrestler ever to finish his career unbeaten and untied). He won four NCAA Division III Championships individually, and was a member of two teams that won National Championships. Marcus ended his high school wrestling career 141-0, which when combined with his unbeaten college career was 296–0. He was inducted into the Division III Wrestling Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2022. Marcus coached at Hopkins High School from 2007-2015, Shakopee High School from 2016-2021, and became the Head Coach at Eden Prairie High School in 2022.
In his professional career, Marcus amassed a record of 22-7 from 2003-2012 and had 3 fights in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). His specialty was wrestling, but he was highly trained in Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, kickboxing and boxing.
Ryan brings a true passion to coaching and teaching. Ryan specializes in building movement with knowledge and experience in movement assessment, strength training, and corrective exercise.
Ryan has 27 years experience with over 18,000 hours as a personal trainer, strength coach and instructor of small and large groups. Having coached over 100+ college and professional athletes in many sports, including football, hockey, rugby, track & field, and volleyball, Ryan has a broad knowledge of athletic performance. In addition to training, Ryan has conducted over 225 presentations for corporate, civic, athletic, and philanthropic organizations. He spent 3 years working with the University of Wisconsin-Madison Badger football, soccer, and wrestling teams.
A lifelong athlete, Ryan spent 12 years as a D1 college and Senior Men's club Rugby player as well a white-belt in Jiu-jitsu.
He lives in Hopkins with his wife and 4 kids. Ryan enjoys spending time with his family, working out with sandbags, coaching rugby, and adventuring outdoors.
