Year-round wrestling and athletic development for K–12 youth in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro. Elite coaching. Real results.

Year-round competitive wrestling development for K–12 athletes. Training is available in large group, small group, partner, and solo formats. Wrestlers develop technique, build competitive knowledge, and sharpen a personal style that translates to the mat. Film analysis available for wrestlers who want a deeper edge.

For youth ages 7 and up. We build the physical foundation every young athlete needs — functional movement patterns, explosiveness, coordination, and sport-ready conditioning. Whether your child wrestles or plays another sport, this program gives them the athletic base to compete and excel.

PreK - 1st Grade
For athletes who are brand new to the sport and just getting started. Rookie focuses on fun, movement, listening, body awareness, and very basic wrestling positions through games and simple skill-building. A low-pressure introduction before fully committing.
Best for: First-time wrestlers who want to explore the sport.
Youth Wrestlers
For beginner youth wrestlers with little to no competition experience. Focuses on core positions, basic offense and defense, practice habits, mat awareness, and confidence. Athletes here are building the technical and physical foundation needed to grow in the sport.
Best for: Newer wrestlers still learning the basics, and athletes who benefit from continued repetition of foundational skills.
Youth & Middle School
For actively competing youth wrestlers and newer middle school athletes ready for more structure and challenge. Focuses on sharper technique, higher pace, mat strategy, and match readiness. Designed for athletes competing regularly and working toward events like MN/USA State and Regional/National events.
Best for: Wrestlers competing consistently and preparing for higher-level youth competition.
*Some athletes benefit from both Base and Prep — Base builds fundamentals while Prep adds pace and competition focus.
High School
For high school wrestlers training with greater intent and accountability. Practices emphasize advanced technique, tactical awareness, live wrestling, conditioning, and competitive preparation. Designed for athletes who want a stronger training environment built around performance and continued development.
Best for: High school wrestlers preparing for varsity-level competition and beyond.
Move Better. Play Better.
Functional Kids is designed for athletes who are still developing coordination, balance, body awareness, and movement confidence. Through games, challenges, and bodyweight activities, athletes learn foundational movement patterns such as squatting, lunging, balancing, crawling, jumping, and rotating. The goal is to build athleticism before adding significant resistance or structured strength training.
Best for: Athletes ages 7-11 who are new to athletic training or still developing movement skills and coordination.
Build Strength. Enhance Performance.
Performance Strength is a coach-led training program for athletes who have developed a solid movement foundation and are ready for more structured strength and performance training. Athletes learn proper resistance training techniques while building strength, power, stability, coordination, and resilience. Training is scaled to each athletes's age, experience, and development level..
Best for: Athletes who demonstrate good movement competency and are ready for structured strength training to support performance.
Understand Your Body. Improve Your Performance.
Based on the movement principles taught through Wrestling Prep, Body Leveraging helps athletes develop greater awareness of balance, positioning, leverage, and movement efficiency. Athletes learn how to create and maintain strong body positions, move with purpose, and better understand how their body works. These skills create a foundation that supports wrestling, athletic performance, injury prevention, and long-term development.
Best for: Athletes who want to move better, gain confidence in their movement, and develop skills that transfer to every sport.
All Athletes
Open Mat is supervised mat time for wrestlers who want extra reps outside of regular practice. Wrestlers can drill, review technique, and get additional live work in a more flexible setting. Coaches are present to supervise and offer guidance, but Open Mat is less structured than a standard practice.
Best for: Wrestlers who want extra mat time, reps, and live work.
*Wrestlers are encouraged to attend with a partner when possible to make the most of Open Mat.
Individualized Coaching
Private Lessons are customized to the wrestler's needs and can focus on technique development, position awareness, transitional chain wrestling, or targeted preparation. Wrestler should plan to attend with a partner so they can make the most of the session.
Best for: Wrestlers who want focused coaching and more individualized mat time.
Individualized Review
Film Analysis gives wrestlers the opportunity to revisit matches with a coach to better understand their positions, identify missed opportunities, and focus on the techniques needed to make corrections.
Sessions can be done in person or virtually.
Best for: Wrestlers who want to learn from their mistakes and build healthier habits.
